Our art classes are designed for growth, creativity, and exploration. Each session focuses on building skills in drawing, painting, and mixed media while encouraging personal style and confidence. Join us in a welcoming studio environment where artists learn, experiment, and create.

A dynamic, chill space just for teens to explore their creativity through drawing, painting, and mixed media. Each session strikes the perfect balance between skill-building and creative freedom—encouraging self-expression, experimentation, and personal style.

5th-9th Grade
Wednesdays, 4:00–6:00 PM
Semester Dates (6 classes total):
December: 3, 10, 17
No classes on December 24 & December 31 (Winter Break)
January: 7, 14, 21

No refunds or credits will be issued for cancellations made within 14 days of the start of a class, workshop, or semester.
All refunds are subject to a $50 cancellation fee.
We reserve the right to cancel any class or workshop due to low enrollment. In that case, a full refund will be issued.
If a student needs to cancel a class, workshop, or registration, notice must be provided in writing via email to theartsybackyard@gmail.com.
Transfers between sessions or classes are not allowed once registration is confirmed.
Make-Up Policy: One make-up class is allowed per student per semester. The date will be scheduled by the studio toward the end of the semester. There is no make-up for the make-up. Missed classes cannot be refunded or credited toward a future semester, including absences due to trips or vacations.
Evening Class
Canvas & Color: Acrylics for Adults

A no-pressure zone for adults who want to paint, relax, and learn. Each student works at their own pace with guided support—choosing a reference image that inspires them. We’ll explore composition, color mixing, layering, and brush techniques. This is not a drawing or watercolor class, and we don’t all paint the same thing step-by-step. Think of it as your creative escape—with great vibes and even better paint!

Private 1:1 Classes - teens and adults
Interested in adult art programs but want to do it outside of the group setting or Have an idea for a painting but need some extra support? We offer one-on-one private art classes for adults with one of our Art Instructors.
Pricing: At our studio
1 participant- $275 for 2 hours, $375 for 3 hours
2 participants- $375 for 2 hours, $425 for 3 hours

1 participant- $375 for 2 hours.
2 participants- $475 for 2 hours.
