Camp Field Trips

This summer, we welcome local camps for creative field trips at The Artsy Backyard. Each visit is planned in collaboration with the camp director and tailored to your group’s age, schedule, and creative goals. Camps can choose from hands-on art activities such as ceramic painting, canvas or acrylic painting, mixed media, woodcrafts, and DIY art stations. Visits may be structured or open-ended, allowing campers to explore and create in a relaxed studio setting.

Our In-Studio Offerings:

Field trips are structured, project-based sessions designed to fit easily into a camp day. Each group participates in one focused art activity, with materials prepared in advance and clear guidance provided throughout the session. Projects are tailored by age group, time frame, and group size, allowing campers to stay engaged while creating a complete, take-home piece.

Field Trip Logistics

  • Sessions are typically 90 minutes to 2 hours, depending on the project and age group. 

  • Activities are project-based, with all materials prepared in advance to ensure a smooth experience.

  • Field trips are designed for groups of 10 or more campers.

  • Projects are age-appropriate and adjusted to fit your group’s schedule and goals.

  • All artwork is completed during the visit and ready to take home the same day.

  • Advance scheduling is required to ensure availability and proper setup.

  • Extended time options are available upon request for groups interested in longer, more in-depth sessions.
