Summer Art Camp For Kids
This summer 2025, The Artsy Backyard is offering 6 - weeks of summer art camp. You can register for as many weeks of summer classes as your child desires, as each week is different from the rest. Our children’s summer art programs give campers a great way to learn about different forms of art-making, while exploring various media and techniques.
As your child forms their own creations during our kids' summer art camp, they will get exposure to painting, collage, sculpture, watercolors, acrylics, pastels and more! There are many benefits to gaining exposure to different art techniques. Through this exposure to such a wide span of techniques, children are able to discover art forms that suit their personalities, style preferences, and talents. At The Artsy Backyard, our Summer Kids Art Camp offers the perfect opportunity for young artists to explore their creativity, build confidence, and make lasting memories. Designed for children ages 5–11, our summer art camp provides a variety of engaging and age-appropriate projects that spark imagination while developing essential artistic skills. Summer Programming Morning Session
Ages: Kids entering 2nd to 6th grade
Schedule: Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 9:30 AM to 1:30 PM (4 hours)
Pricing:
• $160 per day
• $450 for all three days in the same week

Each day features a structured rotation of activities, ensuring a balance of creativity, skill-building, and fun:
• Registration is available for individual days or full weeks.
✔ Ceramic Painting – Choose a ceramic piece and bring it to life with colorful glazes.
✔ Main Art Project – Explore different techniques, including watercolor, acrylic painting, and mixed media.
✔ Creative Craft Activity – A fun take-home project that complements the day’s art focus.
✔ Snack, Lunch Break & Social Time – A chance to relax, eat, and enjoy the creative community. (Kids bring their own food)
Pop-Up Wednesday
A special art experience for younger artists!
Ages: Kids entering kindergarten to 1st grade
Schedule: Wednesdays from 10 AM to 12 PM
Dates: June 11, 18, 25, July 9, 16, 23

Private Art Camp
Looking for a personalized art experience for your group of young creators? Our studio offers the option of hosting a private art camp at our studio, tailored just for you!
Contact us to reserve your spot and let the artistic journey begin! We ask for a commitment of a minimum of 3 days, 4 hours per day, and a minimum of 10 kids.
In addition to our weekly Summer Kids Art Camp sessions, The Artsy Backyard offers Private Art Camp experiences tailored to your group’s specific needs and schedule. This is an excellent option for parents or caregivers looking for a more personalized and flexible camp experience for their children. Whether you're coordinating a pod of neighborhood kids, planning an artistic birthday celebration, or simply prefer a smaller, more intimate setting—our private art camp delivers the same high-quality, engaging experience in a private format that fits your needs.
Private art camps can be held at our studio or on location, depending on availability and group size. We work closely with you to create a custom schedule, theme, and set of projects that suit your group's interests and preferences. Choose from a wide variety of mediums and creative themes like “Under the Sea,” “Famous Artists,” “Fantasy & Fairytales,” “Color Explosion,” and more! Each camp includes structured instruction, plenty of time for open-ended exploration, and lots of opportunities for kids to connect through shared creativity.
