This class offers students the study of fine art painting. We will review some basic composition and color theory, the proper use and possibilities of materials and tools used in Fine Arts, and different techniques using acrylics in painting.

The subject matter is open and students will pick a master work to recreate or use it as an inspiration.

Please note: This class is for students who have some painting experience or intermediate and advanced level.

(A beginners class is available on Tuesdays)

You can sign up to drop in classes, choosing the dates you are available.

For Drop In Classes: The way the class is structured, each student works on their own project, so you won’t miss out if you can’t make it to each class. Whenever you’re here, you will continue working on your project. The time spent on each project will vary from student to student.

(Watercolor classes are available on other dates)

No refunds or credits will be given for a cancellation within 14 days prior to the start day of a workshop/class.

All refunds will incur a $50 cancellation fee.

The Artsy Backyard reserves the right to cancel classes with low enrollment. A full refund will be issued.
