Teen, High School & Adult Spring Classes

Our art classes are designed for growth, creativity, and exploration. Each session focuses on building skills in drawing, painting, and mixed media while encouraging personal style and confidence. Join us in a welcoming studio environment where artists learn, experiment, and create.

Teen Class

Teen Art Class

Teen Art Studio (6th-9th Grade)
A relaxed and inspiring studio space just for teens to draw, paint, and explore mixed media while developing their own artistic voice. Students work with a variety of materials and techniques, learning how to observe, experiment, and express ideas through their art.
Each session includes guided skill-building along with open studio time, allowing teens to grow at their own pace while creating artwork that reflects their personal style. This class is perfect for both beginners and more experienced young artists who want a creative place to belong.

Wednesdays, 4:00–6:00 PM
Semester Dates (9 classes total):
April 8, 15, 22, 29, May 6, 13, 20, 27, June 3
Price: $675 for 9 week session

Payment option is available
- No refunds or credits will be issued for cancellations made within 14 days of the start of a class, workshop, or semester.
- All refunds are subject to a $50 cancellation fee.
- We reserve the right to cancel any class or workshop due to low enrollment. In that case, a full refund will be issued.
- If a student needs to cancel a class, workshop, or registration, notice must be provided in writing via email to theartsybackyard@gmail.com.
- Transfers between sessions or classes are not allowed once registration is confirmed.
  Make-Up Policy: One make-up class is allowed per student per semester. The date will be scheduled by the studio toward the end of the semester. There is no make-up for the make-up. Missed classes cannot be refunded or credited toward a future semester, including absences due to trips or vacations.

Choose the dates that work for you and build your own schedule.
This ongoing instructional acrylic painting class focuses on technique, creativity, color mixing, layering, and individual artistic growth with personalized guidance and support.
Because learning happens over time, we strongly recommend booking at least 2 classes for the best experience and progress. Dates may be selected individually and do not need to be consecutive.
