What is a “Paint & Sip” Event?
Planning a night out? Whether it’s a Girls' Night Out, date night, family night, or just a night out, turn your evening or weekend into a paint night party while hanging out with friends and being creative. Whether you’re a painting professional or a nervous novice, we offer two hours of step-by-step instructions that allow you to follow along and create a masterpiece with ease.
Paint a vibrant cactus or a beach sunset: No matter what your style preferences, we offer painting options that will create beautiful décor or gifts for your loved ones. Feel free to bring food or beverages (*alcoholic beverages are welcome with a valid 21+ ID) to your paint night.
We promise to handle everything else. From the canvas to the brushes, paints to aprons, we have all the supplies needed to create your piece.
Enjoy a Paint and Sip Party With Us
Here at The Artsy Backyard, we want to provide you with the opportunity to enjoy an entire paint and sip party with your friends and family. Enjoy some sips of your favorite alcoholic (or non-alcoholic) beverage and learn how to paint a specific scene from scratch. You can walk in as a complete novice and walk out having painted something that you didn't even realize you were capable of. It is really that easy, and it may help you get the confidence you need to take on painting as a regular hobby for the remainder of your life.
No Need To Bring Anything
You don't need to bring anything with you. You can optionally choose to bring food and beverage with you, but your class will be paid in advance, so you won't have to worry about taking your wallet out to attend the class. Instead, you can just come in and prepare to relax and enjoy the experience. We provide all of the art materials you will need to have the best possible experience while in class.
Classes for Adults
The vast majority of people who attend these classes are at least 25 years of age. In fact, it is necessary that all painters are at least 13 years old, and there are no unaccompanied minors permitted. It is supposed to be a fun event for the adults, and that is why we prefer to keep the event largely exclusive to adults.
Anticipate 2-3 Hours Worth of an Event
It is necessary to block out your entire evening to make sure you have the time necessary to get the work done. The classes tend to last between 2 to 3 hours. It is also nice if you can show up approximately 30 minutes in advance to receive some opening instructions about what you will be doing and what is expected of you.
Beginners Are Welcome
All people are welcome to participate in these events. You don't need to have any background in painting or any experience at all. You just need to bring yourself and your desire to learn how to paint better.
